In this electrifying, brand-new game, compete head-to-head against other teams in a competition inspired by the FIRST Tech Challenge PowerPlay game. Unlike the regular season, enter the field alone, without a teammate, and showcase your team’s strategy, design, and innovation to win against a singular opponent. No Alliances. No Excuses. Show us what you’re truly made of.
SUMMARY OF GAME CHANGES:
- Play in a 4×8 tiles game field, which is exactly half the field size of the regular PowerPlay field. This new field consists of 4 low junctions, 2 medium junctions, 3 high junctions and 6 ground junctions.
- The game has been modified so that existing autonomous programs will function fine, without any major or significant changes (Minor tweaks may be necessary).
- There will be no alliances in the modified game. Instead teams will be facing off in a 1v1 style duel against a single opponent team.
- Both teams start next to each other on one side of the PowerPlay field.
- Points scoring will also be modified with exact points for completing tasks available in our modified game manual.
